What we say:

About 3 kilometres southeast of town on Route 1081 (1056), this is the only hotel in Pua that has any semblance of English signage, and indeed has several signs up along the main highway and the road it resides on. It appears as if this hotel once was set up to house a great deal of visitors, but when we arrived there was only one member of the staff present that we could find, and only one of the several buildings on the property was available to look at. Still, the rooms we saw were very pleasant, albeit a bit small, and gave the cosy feeling of a cottage in the European or North American countryside. The bathrooms were small but adequate, and the beds a bit hard, and all rooms come with TV and air-con standard. Free breakfast is included in the price, but we were not able to tell if other meals were available as well. Overall this hotel would make for a very comfortable stay in Pua, though if the service has simplified to the point where meals other than breakfast are not available, it’s a bit of a trek back to town to get some food. On highway 1080, heading East/North away from Nan city towards Thung Chang, make a U-Turn once you’ve passed the center of town, and turn left at the main junction with 1081(1056) after the big market. The hotel is on the right about 3 kilometres down the road.
