Baan Lanta is a Thai-run resort that believes in quality rather than quantity. Just 15 bungalows crouch on the one-acre site, either seaview or pool villas. All rooms are fitted out in a classic Bali style and are spacious, with large balconies. Some are rather dark so it's worth asking to see one first. Baan Lanta is a good choice if you want a little privacy and great views, but don't want to blow all your baht on one trip. The resort has a spa, its own dive centre and a beachfront restaurant that does a decent seafood barbecue every night.
