Green View Village Resort
Cranky staff

What we say:
This garden bungalow outfit has a very large restaurant/reception area, and grounds full of green foliage and ponds like something out of a painting by Matisse. The notoriously cranky staff, however, are more along the lines of Edvard Monk. If you can look past that, the place has a nice atmosphere and good rooms. The air-con rooms are hotel-style, with TVs, fridges and safes, while the more basic fan rooms are good value for the money. It's a 20-minute walk to the beach, so consider renting some transportation or flagging down a songthaew on the main road.

Not too bad, but update the prices
The green view, is located not too far from Ao nang beach (5 minute by bike)/ The staff was Ok, at least better than expected. I was in Bungalow with fan, quite good actually: A room, a low table and 2 chairs. The bed was quite confortable and there was a mosquito net hanging from the celling. The Bathroom was really nice. There is a nice little terrasse with two plastic chairs and a low table. The bungalow are quite close from each other thouhgt. And there's a swimming pool surrounded by a wood terrasse. And the surroundings are well kept: nice trees and flowers. The lobby is nice, I wasn't astonished by the food served (60/80 b for a Khao Phad Krung) but there is a muslim food stall nearby on the main road that provide good food (althought spicy) for cheap. The prices have been revised: 800 bahts for the bungalow with fan 1900 bahts for the bungalow with Air con and fridge 2500 for the 4 bedrooms bungalow A/c, fridge, tv.

Ok housing, cheap meals
The staff were grumpy some days and kind other days. Very dependent of the mood of this person behind the desk. Not exactly a place were you got smiles every day. Highseason rates were 500B/n for the cheapest fan bungalows. No major bug problems except for ants running around. Make sure you do not throw any food/candy items in the trash. Food was good and relatively cheap, especially compared to the main beach front resturants in Ao Nang.
