Green View Village Resort

Cranky staff

This garden bungalow outfit has a very large restaurant/reception area, and grounds full of green foliage and ponds like something out of a painting by Matisse. The notoriously cranky staff, however, are more along the lines of Edvard Monk. If you can look past that, the place has a nice atmosphere and good rooms. The air-con rooms are hotel-style, with TVs, fridges and safes, while the more basic fan rooms are good value for the money. It's a 20-minute walk to the beach, so consider renting some transportation or flagging down a songthaew on the main road.

Green View Village Resort reviews

Ok housing, cheap meals - 30th January, 2008
The staff were grumpy some days and kind other days. Very dependent of the mood of this person behind the desk. Not exactly a place were you got smiles every day. Highseason rates were 500B/n for the cheapest fan bungalows. No major bug problems except for ants running around. Make sure you do not throw any food/candy items in the trash. Food was good and relatively cheap, especially compared to the main beach front resturants in Ao Nang.
