The Royal Lanta Resort has recently hiked its prices, which makes this resort less appealing, though it has always been of a high standard. The well-designed resort offers traditional Thai-style villas, with their own balconies and beautiful interiors, but somewhat small bathrooms. Facilities include a swimming pool, spa and massage services, fitness room, water sports and a small children's playground. Considering this is only a small resort, they do offer a great range of services. Royal Lanta is a good choice if you are looking at this style of accommodation. The traditional facade of the places really does give a Thai feel to the resort. A large sala restaurant is near the beach, with a buffet breakfast included in the room rate. Staff are extremely polite and welcoming. Everything about this resort screams Thai hospitality.
