What we say:

From the entrance, Baahra appears to be a bland, featureless resort. While this is true to an extent, the real value in this set up is its proximity to the beach and the price. The 12 huts all have air-con, TV and hot water. The terracotta exterior and gardens add a feel-good touch. The resort doesn't have a pool, but it's so close to the beach it barely matters. Service is efficient and friendly, the owner is always around and the units are clean. They may not be of the highest standard, but they certainly deliver given the low prices. All in all, this is an excellent flashpacker option for those who want to be in among things on Khlong Dao.
