Best known for its excellent cooking school that donates profits to the associated Lanta Animal Welfare centre, Time for Lime also has a handful of bungalows in a leafy area behind the kitchen and an easy hop from the beach.
The detached bungalows are spacious, with high ceilings and lofts containing extra single beds. Fans are mounted on the ceiling above the soft double beds, and several windows allow for air to flow through. Each room has a basic hot water bathroom and inviting front porch with hammock and bench. Solo travellers get a 50 baht discount and all guests receive 200 baht off the normal price for cooking classes. There's also a very good on-site restaurant and bar. The staff are friendly, and overall the place has a stylish, youthful vibe. Prices drop 300 to 400 baht during the shoulder months of March and November.
