What we say:

Hillside Narima has polite, articulate and extremely helpful staff. The owner greets most arrivals and has made this spot a more exclusive, eco-friendly, higher-end bungalow resort. The on-site restaurant provides excellent service and is popular with outside guests as well. The grounds are shady, with towering palm and tropical trees providing a cool respite. What stands out is the beautiful pool and seating area, half way down the hillside, tiled in a shade of aqua green. Bungalows are made of thatched bamboo and are fairly basic inside, maintaining a natural feel among the gardens. Basic does not mean that they are without amenities however, with the bungalows boasting all mod cons, including TV, fridge and private terraces. Prices are reasonable for the luxury on offer. Recommended.

Friendly and chilled

Stayed here for 5 days at end of October 2008. Out of season so nice and quiet. Good food, friendly staff, clean rooms and beautiful setting. Beach is small with rocks, but good beaches nearby. Don't let this put you off. As expected, not a lot for our 9 yr old to do, but he loved the Bubblemaker diving course with Scubafish. This was the highlight of his trip! A few hours in the Narima's pool then a couple of dives at Ko Haa. Worth every baht for the experience.
