Ao Nang Buri Resort
Clean and new

What we say:
This is a mid-range resort that opened late 2003, and the grounds are already starting to look a bit shabby and overgrown. The pool is of a decent size, but wedged into a courtyard with the resort looming around it, it looks and feels tiny. The rooms get good marks, though -- pleasant, upscale accommodation with fine decor and four-poster beds, good bathrooms with tubs, and some beautiful mountain views. Staff can be variable, though the big positive is that the resort is just across the road from the beach, and it's about a fifteen-minute walk from Ao Nang.
