This locally-owned bungalow joint at the southern end of the beach has one of the best and most true-to-fact slogans that we've seen anywhere in Thailand: "The islanders style simple tranquil seaside".
A small collection of well-worn wood and bamboo bungalows with tin roofs are perched on stilts overlooking a lawn and restaurant just off the beach. The front rooms enjoy sea views directly from the porch-strung hammocks, and prices increase as you get closer to the sand. At time of writing, all bungalows come with only a firm bed, mosquito net, fan and basic cold-water bathroom, but it appeared that a few considerably larger bamboo bungalows were under construction. While the accommodation is similar to what you'll find at Sea Culture, the location is a bit quieter and you're taken care of by a laid-back family rather than long-haired shirtless dudes.
