Description
This place was just about wiped out by the tsunami, but it bounced back quickly and has been back to its old self for quite a while now. Owned by the same family as nearby Pier Guesthouse, the Phi Phi Inn is a slightly wealthier cousin, with nice hotel-style rooms with tile floors, TVs, fridges, air-con and hot-water bathrooms. As with all the accommodation along Ton Sai Beach, you're paying more for location than quality of accommodation, but the prices are competitive given the market.

Ton Sai village, Ko Phi Phi
One of only a handful of places that's actually located in the streets of Ton Sai village itself, Kinnaree bills itself as a boutique guesthouse and it makes a great first impression. Ceramic frangipanis studs the reception's concrete floor, and its blue-painted wooden facade stands out from... more

Phi Phi Hotel
129 Moo 7, Ton Sai village, Ko Phi Phi
The Phi Phi Hotel was badly damaged by the tsunami, but has rebuilt and reopened. The initial effect upon entering is that of a flash, high-class hotel, but on closer inspection -- yikes! The cheaper rooms have no balconies and views of crummy alleys. The more expensive rooms have more amenities... more

Hotel H.C. Andersen
Ton Sai village, Ko Phi Phi
Packed in at the end of a narrow alley in Ton Sai village, this anomalous little place is half-hotel, half-guesthouse. The rooms are cramped, but they all have air-con, fridge, and TVs with DVD players -- as well as private baths. All rooms have optional air-con in the low season, but mandatory in... more
