Phi Phi Andaman Legacy
Hotel style rooms with a pool

What we say:
Phi Phi Andaman Legacy has two styles of rooms — aged bungalows that predate the tsunami and a large three-storey hotel building towards the rear of the resort. The bungalows, which are air-con, are appalling on the value for money stakes, but the hotel rooms, especially those on the upper floors, are more reasonable. They offer pretty good views and are far better furnished than the ground level bungalows. There is plenty of open space and a swimming pool is on site, making this a good option for travellers with kids. We'd expect the bungalows' days here are numbered, but if you're after a hotel-style room and the prices fit your budget, this is a good option.

Pretty **** good (for Phi Phi)
Phi Phi is fun but overpriced - and after 4 hours of walking the island, this was the best spot we found. I think we paid 1000 THB in the low season, which is less than alot of other places on the island which offer far less, and are far less welcoming and clean. The pool is really good, staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are relatively clean (bathroom being the only slight let down). It's a little bit of a walk into the main alleys of Phi Phi (5 mins fast walk, 10 mins stroll), but it's kinda nice and there's plenty to see along the way. Plus I think it's a bit quieter down that end. If you're gonna traipse around Phi Phi looking for something with A/C and a pool, make sure you check this place out, as alot of the other places in the same bracket are preeeeetty average. Would definitely stay here again.
