Description
This place is on the hill, a short walk up the steps towards the viewpoint. The decorative motif is plastic linoleum floors and mismatched panel walls. Even though it's on the hill only the upper floor gets much of a view. Rooms, which are a complete rip-off, are at least clean.

We arrived on Phi Phi in Jan 07 with no accommodation booked. After asking in many places we finally got a double room at Lux. The room was quite bright and clean. The views were nice from our room (we were on the top floor). The staff were quite friendly and we had no problems there. The only bad thing was the price -- 1,000B a night. Total rip-off for what it was, but when you're desperate you'll pay anything!
