Description
Long beach is the budget option on Long Beach, and to be fair it's not a bad deal for the money. The grounds and bungalows are far from attractive and pretty rundown, but here's the saving grace -- it's by far the cheapest place to stay in this part of Phi Phi, and it's on a great beach with access to restaurants and facilities at the other resorts nearby. The rooms are fairly crappy, all are fan only, and the cheaper ones have squat toilets, but the bedding is clean and there's nothing preventing you from getting a good night's sleep. Budgeteers, heed the call!

I felt a bit ripped off staying here the last week of April, which technically is still the high season, but hardly anyone was staying there. The cheap 200 THB price starts in May. One good thing to note was that the 500 THB price included 200 THB worth of food coupons to use at their restaurant, not a bad deal! Also, it's worthy to note, if you don't won't to shell out > 100 THB for every longtail boatride into town the hike takes about 30-45 min. Bring extra water!
