Description
It's a long climb up a lot of steps to the villas here and the views are great. The rooms have hardwood floors, fridges, satellite TV, safes and air-con, with reasonably-sized balconies that offer little privacy. The rooms are sizeable to say the least, with huge comfy beds and a pleasant bathroom, which in the luxury suites is larger than the average backpacker bungalow alone. The staff seem to be quite friendly and welcoming and there's a restaurant on premises which serves authentic Thai food. The brochure says something about having a pool. We couldn't find one anywhere. Maybe they're hiding it. You can find good deals on the internet if you hunt around which should save you a few bucks. Although it's not that cheap here the location is great and if you're up for a splurge you could do far worse. The Super Deluxe rooms are higher up, so therefore a slight workout as far as the steps are concerned, but well worth the extra money as their balconies are far more private.

Pool -

...Oh and the pool does it exist. It's not massive but it does the job and Phitharom provide sun loungers and parasols to laze around with. It would be better if there was a bar at the pool though.

My partner and I stayed here over New Year. It was absolutely fantastic. Narong the general mangager is very warm and friendly. We stayed in a superior room which was great. Just what we needed. Clean, cool, good location (only 5 mins to the town but far away enough for it to be peaceful still) and perfect views over the beach and bay. The breakfast is nice, but it gets a bit repetitive if you stay there for long. Overall this place is great and I would thoroughly recommend it. :)

We booked in our friend there whilst we stayed further up the road. His room was nice but there were many steps to climb up to it. The staff were very hostile when we went to meet our friend there, they seemed terrified that we might use their pool (it is there but is very small).
