Description
On the same hill with Tropical Garden Bungalows, the rooms here have less of a 'jungle' feeling, with white tiled floors and more modern construction, but they are a lot cooler during the day and quite tastefully-done. Some of the maps circulating around the island still indicate 'Jungle Hill' bungalows next door, but the two places have amalgamated into one under the Up Hill name. Their 29 units are spread out over a sizeable patch of the hillside, all set in various scenic locations, and of similar good quality. Many have large balconies with views. The air-con rooms look rather uninspiring as you enter, but inside the rooms are spacious with Thai stylings and high ceilings. All rooms have private bath and hot water showers.
