Description
The Krabi River Hotel is fairly new and has pretty much spotless rooms, some of which have small verandas overlooking the river -- there's also a nice terrace up on the roof with great views. Concrete and tiles throughout, this is a comfortable river-side option, just a short walk from the centre of town. All rooms have air-con, TV, mini-bar and hot water. Friendly and helpful management. Complimentary breakfast in high season only.

This is a great place to stay in Krabi. 1000 Baht for a clean comfortable riverview room. Helpful staff. We left our stuff for 5 days, no problem, got to repack, change etc after our return with no hassle whatsoever. Recommended!

This was the perfect hotel for us in Krabi. After trying to arrange accommodation in Railay and Ao Nang, and being disappointed with prices and availability, we decided to stay in Krabi. The Krabi River Hotel was spotless, excellent value, and perfect location. We took longtail boats to Railay beach (100B each, 40 min) and the hotel is right beside the pier. There is also a great night market by the pier with fantastic cheap food every night.

so nice -

Krabi City Seaview Hotel
77/1 Kongkha Rd, Krabi
The Krabi City Seaview Hotel is the oldest of the riverfront places in Krabi and represents reasonable value, though the river view rooms are certainly overpriced when compared to other hotels and guesthouses nearby. The rooms are priced according to what floor they're on and whether they have a... more

Krabi-Loma Hotel
20 Chao Fa Rd, Krabi
This is another smelly-carpet hotel with a lack of atmosphere. On our last visit we found the rooms comfortable and clean -- this time the mouldy shower curtains in the bathrooms lead us to change our point of view. All are air-con with TV and mini-bar, plus there's a small pool out back. Hot water... more

A. Mansion
12/6 Chao Fa Rd, Krabi
This is a reasonable mid-range option among the bars and restaurants clustered on a stretch of Chao Fa Rd, but the place itself doesn't have much atmosphere. The fan rooms out back have no TVs or fridges, and are a bit sterile, with views of nothing in particular, so you're better off heading... more
