Dawn of Happiness
Secluded

What we say:
Dawn of Happiness can be found on a beautiful secluded beach along the road to the Fossil Shell Beach. It has a handful of rustic bungalows and a small restaurant set within lush gardens. The rooms at the rear are a bit disappointing, but the beach-side ones are very good and have sea views straight from the bed. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the beach is great for swimming, mostly at high tide.

Nice place, not so nice beach
The place looked great on arrival... right on the beach, secluded, nice bungalows. The sunset over the limestone cliffs was amazing. But, the following morning we noticed all of the drainage (sewage?) ditches that drained right into where we had been swimming 12 hours earlier. The smell was not so great either. We were also disappointed with the food. It's located right near the pier to take a boat to/from Railay, so it could be worth a stopover for a night or two. But do yourself a favor and don't swim in the water or walk along the beach.

Has a jungle-y feel
This is nowhere near Krabi town, it is between there and Ao Nang. Despite its location in the middle of nowhere, it is a nice place, the only place I found with character in Krabi. Very private little beach, big rooms. jungle-y feel.
