Chao Fah Valley Bungalows
An excellent option at a great price

What we say:
The bungalows here are down in a small valley off the road. Unlike the hotel-style places next door, it offers a bit of nature with its accommodation -- we're told the occasional monkey can still be spotted swinging from the trees nearby. The bungalows are a bit charmingly aged on the outside, but inside they're of good quality for a wooden bungalow, and provide a woodsy atmosphere you wouldn't expect in this neighbourhood. All the bungalows come pre-equipped with an additional single bed, though a third person will cost a little more. The restaurant on site is large and great for hanging out, with an extensive menu served up by a friendly staff. An excellent option at a great price.

Exellent servcie
We came in a group of 8, all on our bikes from Malaysia. Enough room to park the motorbikes. The air con rooms were sold out when we arrive and we opt for the fan bungalows. It was clean, large and very cheap at 300 bh per room. Hot shower, fan and even wi-fi. The staffs were friendly and very helpful. We book the rooms and ferry to stay at Phi Phi through them. They have a registered company Black Tiger Tour. It was done in a breeze and everything was settled. NO rip off at all. Boat tickets were less than what you actually pay for if you had bought at the Pier. Transportation from Chao Valley Bungalows to the Pier was arranged for free. Our bikes were parked at their parking lots while we spent a night at Phi Phi island. There was even a runner from the guest house at Phi Phi that came to greet and take us to the booked guesthouse. On returned to the mainland, we were again picked up by Black tiger Tour from Chao Fah bungalows, again it was free. Very trustable and reliable bungalow and tour operator, Highly recommended. Look for the captain Mr.Os, he speaks good english, a joker! AA
