Chao Fah Guest House
Really cheap and kinda unique

What we say:
Set in a quiet, shady little alley off Chao Fa Rd, this guesthouse is pretty unique for Krabi Town and offers some really cheap, surprisingly well-furnished rooms with small balconies -- they all have private bathrooms and hot water. The lobby/reception area isn't up to much in terms of atmosphere, but a little way down the road there are some good options for eating a drinking. Not a bad choice for budget travellers, though it's quite a hike to the centre of town.

Empty Room
I asked to see a room in passing mainly because of the listing here on Travelfish. There were two members of staff in a kind of travel agent who weren't so nice, though the lady who showed me the room was OK. The rooms are kind of a separate building behind the reception. I was shown a double for 300 baht. It had a little balcony, toilet and bed, and absolutely nothing else, no little table, not even a chair on the balcony. I thought that made it quite poor value really. BTW, it is called Adaman Legacy now.

Really nice place to stay
We loved staying at Chao Fah Guest House, mostly because the staff were really nice and gave us some really good recommendations for things to do (cooking course etc) and other places to stay at. The rooms were clean, we had a balcony and the guesthouse is walking distance to restaurants and bars. We loved the place and are happy to recommend it... and the price is good.

Not too shabby
An okay place to stay. There's nothing special about Chao Fah, but then, the prices are pretty low too. The rooms are reasonable and clean, though devoid of any character, and the breakfast is pretty good.

Nice stay at Chao Fah
Nice guesthouse, even if it looks not so good from the outside. It's a quiet place, good for relaxing with a nice staff. The rooms are clean and also have private bathroom. Some nice bars are in short walking distance.
