City Hotel Krabi
A good option for families

What we say:
This large, mid-range hotel is right across the street form Krabi Town's night market, offering a wide range of rooms. There isn't a good view in the lot, and the carpeting throughout the hotel could use some freshening up, but otherwise the rooms are fairly comfy. The cheaper rooms are well furnished, but come without TVs and fridges. The three and four-person rooms are quite spacious affairs, and come with bathtubs -- a good option for families.

Direct in the center
Cheap, clean, directly in the heart of the town, the night market is just on the other side of the street, staff is friendly, good value for your money. We payed 450 THb for a double room with Fan and got exactley what you get for 450 THb in Thailand. So place it definitely ok for one or two nights but nothing special. Many Thais stay there and its a little bit noisy during the morning between 5-8am because they all get ready for work. But that wasnt bad. In a special way i felt like being in a very authentic place. We stayed ther just one night on our way back to Bangkok and choose the place over a nicier one because we wanted to be in the heart of the town.

Great value
Stayed here for 2 nights in a 650baht double room in the old wing. Best value of our hole trip as we got a/c, tv and hot water! and it was clean! Kinda felt like we were the only people around walking down the halls sometimes, but the lobby was always busy. Very helpful desk staff who helped us sort out a train booking and elephant trek. Right in the middle of the town, and the pier wasnt a very long walk. Definately a good place to stay, especially if your on a budget as it is very easy to see the more expensive Railey and Ao Nang on daytrips then come back to the cheap, nice room!
