In front of Lanta Sand Resort lies the beautiful northern end of Long Beach -- a reasonably quiet area to while away the days. The resort is medium sized with a large clear grassy area between it and the sandy beach. The beach front rooms are the more spacious choice, with table and chairs and great views.
