Railay Highland
Inland, on the road to Railay Cabana

What we say:
Follow the signs to Railay Cabana to get here, and you'll find it along the way, a good ten minutes walk from the water. The bungalows here are minimalist, but larger and somewhat nicer than the ones at the Cabana. The setting isn't quite as striking, but it's less of a walk to the beach and closer to places to eat in the area. All rooms have private bath.

Cheap and worth every penny
The bungalows are nothing special, but I didn't see any other better & more affordable bungalows on E. Railay. The beds are off the floor, which is good. Not a lot of light and our shower was leaky, but overall an acceptable choice. The Jungle Grass bar is right next door, or maybe even on the same grounds. When we stayed (on a Wednesday night) they had live music from about 10PM to midnight, then party music from midnight-??? Something else to keep in mind.
