Anyavee Railay Resort

What we say:
This place is just getting started and was under construction/reconstruction on our visit. It seems to have been recently been bought up by Best Western, though it's not clear it'll bare the brand name once it's up and running. It's offering up pretty good air-con bungalows at fairly competitive prices. The rooms here are likely to be newer and fresher than the ones at the long-running establishments further along the beach, so it's worth a look on your way past.

Great bungalows + pool
Ended up staying here for three nights I think. It's located on the East beach (boats from Ao nang come into the west beach, which is sooo much nicer, but everything is really expensive on that side) but is one of the better places on this beach from what we saw. The bungalows are great, with a comfortable bed and comfortable feel. The pool is also really nice, plenty of loungers and a view to the beach that reveals just enough of the beach to still give the illusion of beauty (the east beach is no oil painting in some parts). The place has a pretty good restaurant, and is close to a good food stall (same kitchen as the restaurant I think). Also close to a little shop and the skunk bar ;)

Good choice on East side
Nice place, room condition is quite new with the rate they offered make you hard to resist. I like its bahtroom which has much space and you can shower under the sun with transparent roof, nature view.
