The old adage you get what you pay for, adeptly describes this mid-range spot. A multi-storey hotel right on the beach, the Khanom Golden Beach has really friendly, English-speaking staff, and a range of clean, well-fittd out rooms. They certainly wouldn't win any design awards, but if you're looking for creature comforts (and a swimming pool) by the beach, then this is a safe bet.

We came upon this gem , after we were disapointed in arriving at the Tancoo(now Talkoo)resort, just a few hundred meters up the road.just being curious we entered this place and were pleasantly suprised with their low season price of Tbh 1250 for a standard room.great room overlooking the magnificent Khanom bay, stunning view.Including an indulging breakfast which even changed from day to day.lovely hotel with a beautifully located outdoor pool.the staff here is efficient and very service orientated.Although we normaly use guesthouses and moderate hotels when in Thailand , I had a wonderfull time in Khanom's Golden Beach Hotel.their restaurant too , is greatly located and has very good dishes for very reasonable prices to offer. The Golden Beach can't be beat in the price range. considering almost all Khanom bay's resorts are in the (slightly ) upmarket class , the Golden Beach was a very Lucky find for us.Would certainly stay their again !
