Description
This redone resort used to be called the Khaolak Orchid Resortel before the tsunami, and reopened for business after rebuilding in October 2005. Accommodation is in three-storey buildings set around a fairly small courtyard, which has a pool. On the downside, the beachside path that leads to this resort will probably still look like a bit of a war zone until the 2006/07 high-season with all the rebuilding going on in this area. Suwan Palm Resort doesn't have the tranquil, garden setting of some of the other resorts in the area, but it is right on the beach.
