Golden Place is a four storey building that, despite seeming a little out of place, offers shiny new serviced apartment style rooms that are a good option for saving some cash without sacrificing comfort or an almost beachfront location (it's just across the street from Nang Thong beach. Rooms come in three sizes, all of which have air-con and feature shiny white tile floors, comfortable beds, simple d�cor, and separated kitchen style sink. Bathrooms aren't huge but they have new appliances are more than adequate. The building is state of the art and even has key card entrance, phones in the bathroom, and emergency sprinklers in all the rooms — very secure, especially for Thailand. Golden Place has free WiFi and a few computers in the lobby for guests to use. While it lacks the pools and holiday facilities of more expensive resorts, Golden Place is a solid, functional choice with a good location. It's also a good choice for long-term stays.
