Chong Fah Resort
Unique and well appointed

What we say:
With its façade of bright yellows, oranges and blues, Chong Fah appears to perhaps be on the tacky side from outside, but nothing could be farther than the truth. The Resort sports modern architecture that blends well into the surroundings with a huge deck and pool with tasteful waterfalls at its centre. There are little ceramic pools around the grounds with floating flowers for cleaning the sand off your feet. It's also right on Bang Nieng beach, and the sea is visible from virtually everywhere in the resort, including a hip and modern restaurant and bar. Rooms are decorated in a stylish, subdued way with silky hard wood floors, light grey walls, soft hanging lanterns, and tasteful local art to go with the obvious fixtures for these prices — flatscreen, fridge, patio with furniture, stylish wood chairs and table, and large modern bathrooms. While rooms in the building towards the back of the resort are perfectly comfortable, beach side villas add a little more space, en suite whirl pool hot tubs, and a location directly facing the beach. The stylish staff achieve that perfect balance of friendliness, sincerity, and professionalism, and the resort offers WiFi and bicycles for free.
