What we say:

Located just past Amnat's if heading north on Phet Kasem Rd, Nanta is a family home with a few rooms out back that could be another great homestay experience, especially if Amnat is not around. Rooms here are set back behind the main house and mini mart, and they are decent sized and comfortable with ceiling fans, fridges, TVs, nice big windows, and a table large enough for two to share a meal. An older woman runs the whole establishment, and while she doesn't speak much English she is sweet and takes care of her guests needs. The property is filled with trees and tropical plants, and while you can hear trucks whizzing past from the rooms the sound of birds chirping is equally prevalent. If looking for a cheap long-term stay in the area, Nanta will rent rooms by the month for 3,000B. The blue sign out front reads only Bungalows, and aside from that it looks like nothing more than a mini mart from the front.
