Phang Nga Inn
For those looking for a bit of class in town

What we say:
The Phang Nga Inn is a beautiful house that has been transformed into an inn. has a spectrum of rooms available and it pays to look at a number of rooms as even rooms that cost the same may differ considerably. From reception there are beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
To get there, walk straight south from the bus station, turn down the third street on your left (soi Lohakit). There is a blue sign on the corner. The Inn is just one hundred meters or so down to the right.

Was ok, pleasant spot, room with private bath, just a little on the small size. Price was 700b one night. I would stay here again if in town (not very likely) again.

lovely wooden structures inseide
It was actually a big bungalow, sort of and turned into a wonderful lodging. The landscape is perfect with plants and wooden gazebos and everything. The timber used is of good quality, thick and broad. There are many tables and chairs around within the landscapes and its always different from each other. You will not get bored changing places. Room I stayed was clean, though a bit small. I rented out the double bed and it has a nice bathroom layout. No leaking taps or anything like that. Paid 600bh ecven though it was duirng low season, but it wasw worth it. As we came inb a big number and all on motorbikes, the owner willingly let our bikes parked inside within the vacinity at nights. Staffs are friendly but woith limited english. Bonus, was the free PC with internet. Highly recommended.

just beautiful
dream bedrooms, hot water, aircon, fantastic and very helpful staff, good location and very comfy beds with top quality bed linen. Oh, and free internet.. double in March 700B, varies with room but this one perfectly satisfactory. Downer? lots of mosquitoes in the vicinity so slap on the DEET when outside the room. run to it!

Lovely!
We paid 450B for a double room with air-con and fridge. So nice it would be worth the 700B listed above but not the case. I agree it is a great place to get tours of the Bay and area. At the bus station nearby see Song Praek Tiger Tour. He will take great care of you.
