What we say:

A relatively new arrival in town, Baan Phangnga presents itself as more of a caf� than a guesthouse, but the rooms upstairs are among the best Phang Nga has to offer, and still at a reasonable price. Rooms have something of a boutique feel with polished chandeliers, polished concrete floors with each room's painted a different colour, tiny bright pink TVs, and funky tables with modern hand painted abstract flower patterns. Style points aside, the rooms are also large and functional with comfortable beds, high ceilings, several windows, and clean, spacious bathrooms with hot water and high quality shower heads. There's a common open air patio area for hanging out, and artistic murals may be found on hallway walls along with soft, multi coloured paper lanterns. Free WiFi is offered along with great coffee, home-made cakes, and an extensive Thai and Western menu in the popular restaurant downstairs.
