Description
It's a bumpy trek to Aochalong Villa, so it's a real surprise to see a first-class boutique resort waiting for you at the end of the dirt road. The deluxe rooms here are absolutely gorgeous, being spacious, well-furnished and equipped, with great views of the bay. The cheaper rooms, while equally pretty, are somewhat cramped. There's a restaurant on site, a great pool, and friendly staff. A new building was under construction when we last passed by and the place is about to double in size, so let's hope it doesn't lose its charm in the transition. All in all, Aochalong Villa is one of the best value-for-money resorts on Phuket Island. Recommended.
