Ah, paradise. There are only 10 impressive chalets here, all nestled in lush gardens and facing a small pool, The chalets are plush, but with organic, down-to-earth touches like bamboo detailing, bowls of lilies and sheer curtains surrounding the beds. We love the daybed on the balcony (there's one inside, too) rather than the usual stiff chaise lounger. You may find yourself sitting on this daybed wondering how you can incorporate the designs here into your own home. For maximum bliss, be sure to get a massage at their open-air spa. Low season rates are a steal, and Bangtao Beach Chalet is recommended for a getaway. Free WiFi is available.
