Description
Just when you think you've left beach territory, you see the sign for this place. In a bit of an odd location past the cluster of beach-front commerce and down a soi, the sloping roofs of Bangtao Village Resort's bungalows look like Buddhist temples tucked away behind a fence. Though the design is classic Thai, inside the rooms are comfortable and modern. All have air-con, satellite TV, mini-bar, coffee-making supplies, and an ADSL Internet connection. The bathrooms all have tubs, and we liked the frosted glass window to let in natural light. There's a small pool and most of the rooms have not-so-private terraces that look onto it. Rates include breakfast for two at their Halal restaurant. Prices below are the online booking rates and include breakfast.
