Radisson Plaza Resort
Darn close to perfect

What we say:
The Radisson Plaza sits on a beach suitable for swimming with picture perfect views. The 2009-built resort is stunning and was full at the time of research, which surprised us as it is so isolated from the rest of Phuket. But it's no wonder with fantastic rooms, a kids' club, two restaurants and free water sports. Most rooms have sea views but if you really want to splurge, book a deluxe villa – one of the best pool villas on Phuket. The deluxe villas feature a private pool, massive bedroom fit for a king, high ceilings, giant walk-in closets, indoor/outdoor showers and a jacuzzi big enough to drown in. This resort had the friendliest staff on Cape Panwa by a long shot and the free bus transfers to Central Festival Mall and Phuket Town seals the deal.
