Description
In a quiet spot at the northern end of Kamala Beach, Baan Bungchui has a handful of identical air-con rooms in a two-level building. Inside, they're spotlessly clean but exactly what you'd expect with a double bed, TV, mini-bar, and modern bathroom. We found the rooms attractive enough, so it's a shame there isn't more to like. There's no restaurant, the staff weren't very helpful or friendly, and you can definitely find a better deal at one of the places next door during the low season. We can't fathom why, but they've built a concrete wall around the place that blocks direct beach access.
