This lively hostel has full range of dorms and rooms for backpackers. The dorm rooms are dirt-cheap year round and have two sets of bunk-beds and decent shared facilities. The funkily-painted private rooms are a great deal with en-suite bathrooms, TVs, and mini-bars. The common area downstairs is very welcoming with cushy sofas, a bar and restaurant, an encyclopaedic DVD collection, and a big TV to go along with it. The chatty Kiwi who runs the place can usually be found hanging out here with his guests. The staff can book all sorts of tours for you and run their own overnight island camping trips. Recommended for out-going backpackers.
