What we say:

Just past the food stalls and sitting directly on the sand towards the northern end of Karon beach is this small resort. The 26 rooms and four suites are set in three wings of a two-storey building and conveniently sits steps from the water. The furniture in the rooms is a bit outdated but the room is still equipped with LCD TVs, tea- and coffee-making facilities, hot water, air-con, free WiFi and a good-sized bed. Rooms have either pool and semi-sea views or look onto the resevoir behind the complex. It's pretty clear the owners want to please the guests as much as possible with free breakfast delivered to your room every morning and a free afternoon buffet of fruit and cake everyday to cure post-beach hunger. All of these added perks along with taxes and service charges are included in the rates. Low season rates are an absolute steal but the winds can get quite mighty during the monsoon, so beware.
