Past the popular restaurant of the same name you'll find a two-storey townhouse with some passable rooms. They're a bit dark and dated inside, but comfortable enough with a double bed, TV, mini-bar, and attached bathroom. The location is great and guests have direct access to the beach, but the grounds the rooms are on is downright ugly. Staff are decidedly indifferent and seem more focused on running the restaurant, even when it isn't busy. Regardless, the Ruam Thep Inn continues to draw a crowd with its reasonable prices and excellent location.

* Travelfish researchers visit and review properties on an anonymous basis. By that we mean they show up, in person, and pretend to be either be a potential guest, or somebody looking for a room for a friend or relative. Where possible the researcher will inspect at least a couple of rooms. The rates you see above are what either the desk staff told us they were, or what were in the brochure when they just told us to quit bugging them and look in the brochure.
