What we say:

Lucky advertises itself as economical and clean so it's no wonder it's a popular landing point for many a weary backpacker arriving in Kata. Lucky has 35 semi-detached rooms in a longhouse-like setup, overlooking the carpark. The rooms are spacious and simple, with private bathroom and lukewarm shower, towels, a double bed, 20-year-old dresser and four walls plus a roof — and that's about it. Lucky also has rooms available and again they are simple fare. Staff are friendly and have exceptional knowledge of the local area and can arrange any number of excursions, airport taxis and anything else you can think of. A great place for those on a tight budget.
