What we say:

The Kata Noi Pavilion is a small hotel offering friendly service and comfortable rooms at a fair price, but you wouldn't know it from the small bar outside. Rooms come in two types, small or large, with the latter being nearly twice the size of the former. They're all air-con, tastefully furnished, and have cable TV, mini-bar, and a direct phone line. Each room has a balcony, with some looking across the street toward the beach. Unlike most places, they don't try to charge extra for this semi-sea view, so simply ask whether one's available. After some nice renovations in the last few years, prices have gone up — but the small bump is worth it. The bar at the entrance has a wide selection of spirits and serves snacks and simple meals. Rates do not include breakfast but there is WiFi available in each room for free.
