Description
Welcome to heaven. Voted one of the top 52 hotels in the world by Conde Nast Traveler, Mom Tri has stunning luxury rooms set amid lush gardens on beautiful secluded grounds. There's an attention to detail here that is rare in Thailand, even among luxury resorts. Just feel that hand-woven silk carpet underfoot as you gaze out from your balcony to the sumptuous views below. This place used to have some of the highest prices on the island, but they must have paid off their mortgage because their rates have dropped significantly. If you've got room in your budget for one splurge, this is the place to go. Rates do not include taxes and surcharges.

Paradise on the Hill -
By tommo559 ( total comments: 2  More information please ) Stayed here 9/2007
My girlfreind and i stayed at the MomTri for 5 nights on the first leg of our holiday. We had been on a 12 hour flight so thought we would stay somewhere a bit 'extravagant'. We arrived at the Villa around midnight and were greeted by a very happy, friendly guy. We were given a fruit cocktail and a refreshing aloa towel. The reception area as you walk in instantly tells you, you have made a good decision. The rooms here are large to say the least, with a bed the size of two doubles stuck together and a huge bath. You also get a big balcony area to relax on depending on which room you get.
There are 3 pools to choose from here (1 being salt water) and sun loungers to enjoy. The food and wine is second to none though quite expensive. This is probably the only place you will find with good quality wine!!
I think one thing that stood out the most is the service and the attention to detail. Nothing really to complain about. Not good for young kids.
A must for people how like luxury!
