Smile Inn is right on the corner of the busy intersection between Taina Rd and Kata Rd. The standard of rooms and service at Smile is exceptional for the price range. All rooms are spacious, with air-con, TV, mini bar and hot showers. The decor is Thai modern with creme, brown and gold paint job throughout, that makes the place seems almost above its price range. Even the staff's uniforms have been selected to match the interior of the hotel; it's just a shame that the outside of the hotel is such an eyesore. As long as you keep the windows closed it's quiet but in the evening the area does liven up considerably, both with traffic and music from the nearby bars -- light sleepers should pack earplugs. If you can tolerate the noise and traffic then this place is a great place to stay.
