What we say:

Sure it's nowhere near the beach, but even the prospect of a sweaty walk to the sea didn't stop us from being won over by the charms of the Naiharn Garden Resort. The restaurant, spa, piano bar, and bungalows here are set in a lush valley and the flower gardens attract all sorts of colourful birds and insects. The bungalows are high-class but homey with air-con, satellite TV, and terraces that overlook the gardens or a lagoon. We much preferred the standards to the superiors — the latter have larger living areas but the extra space is occupied by a plastic-y couch. The houses have full kitchen and dining facilities, making them a top pick for longer stays or families with fussy eaters. To boot — there is also a free shuttle to Nai Harn and Ya Nui beaches. Case closed. Rates include taxes and breakfast for two.
