With almost 100 rooms and a grand ballroom for special events, the Naithornburi Beach Resort is a popular spot for Asian and Eastern European holiday-makers and their beachside weddings. Room rates may vary a lot but what's on offer is all quite similar. Rooms are spacious and elegant, and each has a large balcony that looks out over the pool and into the room opposite. All rooms are air-con and the bathrooms have separate showers and tubs. But the similarities don't end there — all of the rooms are equally overpriced. There's a big pool with the customary water-spouting elephant statuary, but the only other attraction is its proximity to the beach. All guests get complimentary sun beds, towels and cold water at the beach. The Naithonburi must be doing something right because it's now taken over the Naithon Sea View Hotel.
