With 79 rooms and a grand ballroom for special events, the Naithornburi Beach Resort is a popular spot for Asian holiday-makers and their beach-side weddings. Room rates may vary a lot but they're all quite similar. The rooms are spacious and elegant and each has a large balcony that looks out over the pool and into the room opposite it. All rooms are air-con and the bathrooms have separate showers and baht-tubs (that's how they write it!). But the similarities don't end there -- all of the rooms are equally over-priced. There's a big pool with the customary water-spouting elephant statuary, but the only other attraction is its proximity to the beach. There's a great little coffee shop serving all sorts of caffeinated treats, fruit shakes, and Italian soda.
