Description
It was a relief to have a staff member show us around, otherwise we'd be lost within the grounds of the gargantuan Indigo Pearl Resort forever. But we can hardly think of a better place to live out the rest of our days -- this is one resort that offers everything. There's three pools, each one very unique, and, should you want to go to the real beach, the staff can transport you there in a slick black Indigo Pearl tuk-tuk. The cheapest (relatively, of course) rooms look onto one of the three swimming pools, and the 35 pavilions have private pools and daybeds. If you grow weary of bronzing under the tropical sun, pick up an 'activities menu' and take a tennis lesson with their on-site pro, a floral arranging class, yoga workshop, cooking class, or learn the art of Thai massage (all of these cost extra $$, of course). Below are their rack rates, be sure to search online for a price closer to earth.

Deluxe- Double
9,500 THB (low season) 28,000 THB (high season)

Superior - Double
6,500 THB (low season) 17,000 THB (high season)

Standard - Double
4,500 THB (low season) 12,000 THB (high season)
