Quite similar to Mai Khao Beach Bungalows, this operation sits just north of a new overpriced resort and has three different room types.
The bamboo beach huts are miniscule with enough room for a bed and with shared bathroom facilities at the restaurant. The newer wooden beach huts are worth the extra 100B as they are connected by an elevated walkway, lined with beautiful flowers and fruit trees, and have their own shared bathroom facilties — no running across the lawn in a towel. The large round cottages are certainly more comfortable, with a large bed, en suite bathroom, coffee and tea and a small sitting area. The price tag, however, doesn’t really match. We prefer the grounds here to the Mai Khao Bungalows, as native plants and flowers scattered about make this option a bit more colourful. Plus, there is just one resort hugging the seaside cottages. Rates do not include breakfast but the on-site restaurant gets two thumbs up.
