Located on one of the sois off the beach road, parallel to Bangla Road, the entrance to the Connect is guarded by a Greek satyr-like statue and above a bar that wouldn't look out of place in San Francisco's Castro district. This guesthouse courts and attracts a largely gay clientele and, whatever your leanings, you're sure to be charmed by the one of a kind rooms and lovely staff. All of the rooms, even the budget fan-onlys, have full amenities like satellite TV, a mini fridge, complimentary coffee and tea, and internet. No two rooms are alike in either their lay-out or decor, so you'll probably want to peek at a few before settling in. If you are interested in exploring Patong’s gay scene, this is the perfect hub.
