Description
A far departure from the usual rooms we see above bars, the Tiger Inn has surprisingly classy rooms and professional service. Proving that not only 20-somethings like to sleep where they drink, the rooms are maturely furnished with comfy beds, reading lamps, and modern western-style bathrooms with tubs. Every room is air-con with satellite TV, a well-stocked mini bar and phone. The slightly larger suite rooms have a semi-separate living room and some are connected to each other. The Tiger Restaurant and Bar downstairs can get very rowdy, but the rooms are enough floors above the action that you shouldn't be disturbed by the continued noise once you've had enough. Rates are nett and include breakfast.

Patong Premier Resort
118 Rat-u-thit 200 Pi Rd, Patong Beach
A mid-sized boutique hotel with 47 rooms, the Patong Premier Resort is a chic spot that's equally suitable for romantic getaways and family vacations. The entire resort is heavy on the oriental-style with lots of Angkorian carvings, dark wood and silk, but it's done in a reasonably tasteful way and... more
Patong Bayshore
89 Rat-u-thit 200 Pi Rd, Patong Beach
The Patong Bayshore is pleasant enough, but it's location in the middle of busy Rat-u-thit Rd. works against it in a number of ways. Certain aspects of the resort, like the pool area, are more crowded than they should be and the longhouse style set-up of the rooms is both unattractive and... more
