What we say:

This attractive mid-sized hotel is set in lush gardens in Patong’s busiest area. While it is wedged in among some very busy seafood restaurants their enormous Austrian beer garden sign makes the K-Hotel easy to spot. Standard and deluxe rooms vary in price depending on location, and the decent sized rooms are equipped with free WiFi, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, flat screen TVs and mini bars. If you didn’t bring your laptop, several are free to use next to the bar , and there's a book exchange. The pool is spectacular and a nice green lawn with sun beds makes this hotel ideal for sunbakers. The owners take great pride in updating the hotel every two years — and it shows. They are a friendly Austrian family who built the K-Hotel in 1983, when Rat-U-Thit was still a dirt road and the sleazy bars did not exist. Free transfers to their private beach and restaurant in Surin. If you don’t feel like making the journey,a Western/Thai restaurant and beer garden is on site. Rates include breakfast.
