An attractive hideaway in Patong

This attractive mid-sized hotel is set in lush gardens in Patong’s busiest area.
Standard and deluxe rooms vary in price depending on location, and the decent sized rooms are equipped with air-con, free WiFi, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, flat screen TVs and mini bars. Standard rooms have either twin or king-sized beds, while the deluxe rooms have new air-con units, hair dryers and electronic safes. The pool is not huge but inviting and a nice green lawn with sun beds makes this hotel ideal for sunbakers. The owners take great pride in updating the hotel every two years -- and it shows. They are a friendly Austrian family who built the K-Hotel in 1983, when Rat-U-Thit was still a dirt road and the sleazy bars did not exist. The Western/Thai restaurant and beer garden on site is also popular with outside guests – it can get busy in the evenings. Otherwise, it’s surprisingly peaceful here considering its location. Rates include breakfast.
