Great flashpacker minihote with a central location

If you’re looking for convenient access to bars, dining and shopping, White Patong is ideally located.
This 44-room hotel has two styles of rooms, both with air-con. Choose carefully if opting for a standard room, as some have no windows and they are priced the same as those that do. While the standard’s bathroom is so small the basin is actually in the living area, the room is otherwise very well sized, with a work desk, TV, minibar, safe, free WiFi (slow) and a terrace veranda that was big enough for a couple of plastic chairs. Comfortably firm bed with good linen rounds out a pretty good deal. The larger deluxe rooms have DVD players and kettles with a supply of coffee and tea, though these added features probably don’t justify charging double the rate of the standards.
Soi Sansabai is an eastward continuation of Soi Bangla and you're just a five-minute walk from Jungceylon. Noise from the nearby live music venues can be a little bit of an issue come the evening and light sleepers may need ear plugs. Good value, in low season. The high season (November-April) rates we were given seem laughably high in comparison – given the fierce competition in Patong we expect these could be bargained down to more reasonable levels if you try.
